Situated within the popular Kings Down development in Bridgwater, this attractive two-bedroom semi-detached home offers modern, low-maintenance living in a well-established and convenient location. Presented in good order throughout, the property is an excellent choice for first-time buyers, couples, young professionals or those looking for a straightforward investment.
The ground floor has been designed with modern living in mind, with the main living accommodation centred around a generous open-plan kitchen and living space. The kitchen sits towards the front of the property and is fitted with contemporary units and integrated appliances, providing a practical and stylish area for everyday cooking.
Moving through into the living room, there is a lovely feeling of openness, with the layout providing plenty of room for both relaxing and dining. Double doors at the rear open directly onto the garden, bringing in an abundance of natural light and making the most of the connection to the outside space. There is also a handy cloakroom located beneath the stairs.
The Owners Love- As my very first home, this house holds a special place in my heart. I poured love and care into choosing every floor and tile and have maintained it so well that it still feels brand new. I have always felt incredibly safe here, the private driveway directly outside the front door brings a wonderful sense of peace and ease. The house itself is incredibly efficient and holds heat so well that I rarely need the heating, even in winter.
One of my favourite parts is the garden. It’s the perfect size—beautiful without being difficult to maintain. The location is another highlight, with countryside running routes nearby, town and the train station less than 30 minutes away on foot, and the M5 close by, making it easy to escape to different beaches and beautiful walking spots.
Upstairs, both bedrooms are comfortable doubles, making this a particularly versatile home. The second bedroom could easily accommodate guests, provide a dedicated home office or be adapted to suit a growing household. The family bathroom is finished in a clean and contemporary style and includes a full-sized bath.
The rear garden has been thoughtfully landscaped to create an attractive and easy-to-manage outdoor space. Whether you're enjoying some quiet time outside, having friends over or simply making the most of the summer weather, the garden provides a useful extension of the living accommodation. To the front, there is off-road parking for two cars.
Matt Loves – The thing that really stands out to me here is how well the layout works. The open-plan ground floor makes it feel spacious and gives you a great area to enjoy day-to-day life.
Kings Down is a popular development with a range of everyday amenities close by, while Bridgwater town centre is easily accessible. There are also local schools, shops and open spaces nearby, with excellent road links providing convenient access to the M5 and surrounding areas.
For anyone looking for a modern home that is easy to live in, well connected and offers excellent use of space, this property is certainly one to take a look at.
