These Grade II Listed barns are positioned in the heart of the popular village of Broadwoodwidger, yet in a tucked away location with far reaching south facing views. Torridge District Council granted consent in 2013 for the conversion of two redundant barns under planning number 1/0493/2013/FUL and 1/0496/2013/FUL. Later the variation of condition was granted under application numbers 1/0548/2019/FUL and 1/0553/2019/FUL respectively. Since then, commencement of work has been obtained and has been recognised by a building control number being allocated and an inspection which took place on 31st October 2017. The planning is therefore now in perpetuity.

The barns allow for spacious accommodation. Granary House is the largest of the pair and has four bedroom (all en-suite accommodation) spread over three floors with a very spacious open plan living/kitchen/dining area and utility room. The Old Byre will have a similar but smaller configuration with two en-suite bedrooms, open plan living and utility room arranged over two floors. Granary House will have the largest of the gardens and The Old Byre the widest terrace/balcony enjoying those fantastic views.

The village of Broadwoodwidger is within easy reach and lies approximately 8 miles east of Launceston in Cornwall and 13 miles west of Okehampton in Devon where a wide range of facilities and amenities can be found in either town, Closer to hand are a local church and primary school. A wide range of rural retreats from fishing to water sports to riverside walks and cycling and far more can be found at Roadford reservoir which is a short drive away. The main A30 is just over a mile away offering good access to west Cornwall or Exeter and the M5 beyond.
