What The Owner Loves - “This is such a wonderful family home in a beautiful village. What I love most about Hemyock is the perfect combination of a rural setting with everything you need close by. There are two shops, a pub and doctors’ surgery in the village, as well as great road links for getting further afield. There are so many lovely walks from the doorstep, and the local football and tennis clubs and Healthy Living Centre, with its yoga and Pilates classes, give the village a real sense of community. One of our weekly highlights is the pizza van that visits on Friday evenings! It really is a great place to live.”

Upstairs, the landing leads to two generous double bedrooms and a good sized single bedroom. The main bedroom benefits from built in storage cupboards and a bay window overlooking the front of the property, while bedroom two enjoys a pleasant outlook over the rear garden. The family bathroom is fitted with a three piece suite including a bath with shower over, washbasin and WC.

What Libby Loves - “What I love most about this home is its lovely character and warm, welcoming feel. The living room is cosy, with the large bay window and log burner, while the kitchen/diner really feels like the heart of the home. Hemyock is a big part of the appeal too. It has a friendly village feel, with local amenities close by, while the surrounding countryside and Blackdown Hills offer beautiful walks right on the doorstep. It’s a lovely place to enjoy village life without feeling isolated.”

To the front of the property is a driveway providing parking for several cars. A side gate leads through to the enclosed and easily maintained rear garden, which features artificial grass and a decking area, making it a practical and enjoyable space for relaxing and entertaining. There is also a spacious and very useful garden shed.
